Millions may die because of us!!!

Global warming is created by selfish greed!

When a drought is created in Africa as a consequence of global warming, millions of innocent people face the risk of starvation and death! However, around the world those people responsible for global warming enjoy the benefits of a comfortable existence and seldom think about who survives or who dies as long as they personally enjoy life and are not forced to face water shortages and starvation or sickness. What happens, however, if the comfortable are forced to face facts and are no longer able to enjoy the benefits of greed and largess? Will they finally change their patterns of behavior?

Unless motivated to change their economic concepts, comfortable people will maintain a level of global pollution detrimental to almost everyone on the planet except themselves! A level of pollution which creates and maintains personal profits for a small minority of people. The One Percent at the expense of the Ninety Nine percent and bad habits are difficult to change when they are rewarded with money and power! This is not to say I advocate egalitarianism or communism but I do advocate much needed economic changes!
Our present economic patterns are destructive to the Biodiversity of Earth! I advocate much needed changes to our economic priorities, We have to create incentives for global companies to protect Earth's natural environment. Industrial pollution is no longer tolerable and it is damaging  and changing our weather patterns around the planet. We are left with no choice but to stop destroying the natural processes that support life on this small Blue planet Earth. We can, however, create a world economy that benefits all life on Earth.

Who are the people responsible for global warming? Look in the mirror. Do you drive a gas burning car? Do you use plastic products?
What can you do to stop global warming?
 1. Stop driving internal combustion engines.
 2. Stop using plastic products. Create non polluting products that benefit life on Earth. One good idea is to bring your own washable cup or a Thermos Bottle to your favorite coffee house. Pay for the Coffee and sit down to drink it but later bring your cup home. This will help to stop the paper waste created in fast food restaurants.
 3. Stop eating meat and replace meat with nuts and fruits and vegetables.
 4. Plant millions of leafy Trees everywhere to absorb C.O.2 and also plant vegetable gardens.
 5. Stop making babies! The planet is over populated with too many people! Teach birth control methods.
 6. Stop listening to religious people who dictate what you should or should not do with your body and your life. Religious leaders simply enjoy the power tripping and some can be dangerous! Study science based provable facts and that should keep you busy for the rest of your life. The same goes for almost all government politicians. Listen to them only if they speak facts.
 7.  Join any political party advocating the protection of Nature and force them to keep their promise.
 8.  Stop listening to brain washing Television commercials. They will attempt to sell you anything for money.
 9.  Study science and math and join the smartest people on the planet. I recommend NASA.com.
10. Drive all electric vehicles or ride a Bicycle or run and/or walk. The best Electric is Tesla.com.
11. Listen to computer Ted.com conversations and take note of College and University articles advocating new ideas and inventions that do not create pollution!
12. Work for the common good and remain honest at all cost. Sooner or later you will come face to face with the corrupting influences of profit and greed. Accept the money and distribute all but your own basic living wage to non-profit organizations.
13.  Be happy and smile. Fun and laughter lead to love and sex but remember number 5 and play safe! If you are desperate to have children make One and adopt Two.
   Bye for now!
   Joseph Raglione.

Greenpeace Logo

Joseph,

The Greenpeace ship Beluga II has set sail on a scientific voyage around Scotland - sampling the sea for plastic pollution and documenting the threat on beautiful and biodiverse habitats and wildlife.

So far the team has seen basking sharks, seals, guillemots, puffins and thousands of gannets! But they’ve also seen a huge amount of plastic pollution - on beaches, in nests and even in the beaks of seabirds.

Plastic bottles are one of the main contributors to plastic pollution and wildlife harm in our oceans - and drinks giant Coca-Cola is the biggest producer of plastic bottles in the world, producing over 100 billion plastic bottles every year.

But Coke isn’t taking responsibility for the huge amount of single-use plastic it’s producing - and billions of it’s bottles are ending up as garbage, on our beaches and in landfill.

We want to show Coke the true extent of its plastic pollution - but we need your help.

Next time you spot a used Coca-Cola bottle that's been discarded somewhere it shouldn't be (i.e. anywhere that isn't the recycling bin!) share it with Coke!

All you need to do is take a picture of the bottle (or bottle cap) and follow the instructions below:

On Instagram - Post your picture and tag @Cocacola - to increase the chance of Coke seeing your post, add hashtags #EndOceanPlastics, #ShareACoke, #CokeSummer, #TasteTheFeeling

On Facebook - Post your picture and tag @CocaCola - you can also visit Coke's Facebook page and post your bottle picture as a comment on one of their recent posts!

On Twitter - Post your picture on Twitter and tag @CocaCola and @CocaColaEP - you can also use #EndOceanPlastics (and #ShareACoke to make a Coke bottle emoji appear!)

Whether it's in your local park, on a beach, in a river or even just on the sidewalk, many of us will have spotted discarded Coke bottles.

And although some of these may be a long way from the sea, that's not to say they won't end up there - whether as runoff from urban areas, via rivers and waterways or broken down into tiny microplastics.

Coca-Cola has a special responsibility to take action because of its huge plastic footprint - and this means coming up with alternatives to throwaway plastic bottles.

The more of us who share our photos with Coke, the more pressure they'll be under to take action. Together we can show the company the evidence of its plastic pollution that it can't ignore.

Thanks for all you do,

-Sarah

Thanks Obama Foundation...Keep up the great work!

Dear Obama Foundation:

I  would love to donate but as usual I am barely surviving on the poverty line. If I had extra money I would buy a super computer and help to invigorate your Obama foundation. Such a computer is currently priced at Four Thousand Dollars. My current computer is no longer being supported.

If I had extra money I would put money down on a Thirty Five Thousand Dollar Tesla Electric Car powered by a new Glass Sodium Battery. The new Battery is a game changer for the industrial economy. I  would be proud to own such a car and I  would publicize the vehicle all over Quebec and Canada and the world and by example force change away from pollution and polluters.

If I had extra money I would deposit more money towards non-profit foundations presently helping children and adults surviving in desperate need.
The problem is that as I and millions of others depend on our social monetary systems for basic survival, we create industrial pollution. The money we currently depend on is based on Oil and Oil byproducts. We need to plant more home and co-operative public gardens.

Presently the flow of Money helps to create dangerous amounts of CO2 pollution in the atmosphere and we have to implement changes that will help to create a clean economy which benefits nature. Nature sustains us and not the other way around and to continue destroying nature for profit is basically sick!

The problem is that many of our present corporate leaders fear change and these particular individuals have and continue to do anything to prevent changes away from their particular power sources. Changing their mind set has to be created within the homes and schools of the world and that takes courage and a great deal of effort. Keep up the great work and if you wish to help me I am sure you can find my home address. For my part I will continue to create free publicity for the common good.
Thanks for reading!

==================================================================

NDP
Joseph,
Last week, we asked the Liberals to reconsider their plan to give private corporate investors a major role in funding and building the bridges, roads, and transit systems that keep our communities running smoothly.
Here’s why: corporations have one goal – $$. When we put our tax dollars into building new infrastructure, we expect the government to put the needs of Canadian communities first. But with private investors and multi-national corporations calling the shots, how can we be sure Canadians will get the best deal?
Handing over more control to corporations is a reckless move – that’s why we’re putting pressure on the Liberals to do the right thing and put everyday Canadians before their friends on Bay Street.
Rich investors stand to make a lot of money from this privatization scheme, and that cash will come right from your pocket.
User fees, including highway and bridge tolls and increasing airport fees, will make corporate CEOs wealthy – and make our commutes a lot more expensive. It’s pretty clear that Canadians are getting the short end of the stick here.                          Struggling families and workers across Canada already pay their fair share and shouldn’t be asked to fill billionaires’ pockets just to use the roads and bridges in their communities.
Let’s make it clear that we don’t want private interests to control our public infrastructure – add your name today, Joseph:
Thanks,
Dave

SHHHHHHHHH ITS A SECRET!

Millions of people hate irritating car commercials on television and to prove it simply ask your friends and neighbors what they think of TV advertising.
If the response is negative towards advertising,,, that is the reason why advertising companies continue to bombard and irritate the general public, you included.
Advertising companies have learned from the best psychologists our Universities provide, that if a person is irritated by a commercial it means that:
1.  The person is watching television and
2,  The commercial is creating the desired effect and
3.  In all probability that person will forget the irritation and remember the product.  Those are the reasons you will continue to be irritated by a constant vomit style stream of irritating commercials on commercial television. Here is what you can do about it.
1. Shut off the television and go work in your garden or call a friend.
2. Play music from your music collection if you have a music collection.
3. Start a music collection.
4. Mute the sound and put your own words into the mouths of the actors. Great fun! Make a game out of it with your friends!
5. Pick out the key words from advertising commercials. For example the word NEW is often repeated. Replace the word with: garbage or scrap or junk etc etc. The same goes for every other word the advertising companies dream up to sell you a useless and worthless and vomit creating dangerous product! See how much fun that is! Get your friends involved or tease the hell out of them when watching television.
6. Read a book or re-read one of your old books you forgot long ago. Surprise yourself with old memories!
7. Go for a walk.
8. Clean your apartment or house.
9. Go to the bathroom.
10. Raid the refrigerator.
11. Stop the brain washing!
The most important reason of all is number 11.
Stop them from brain washing you because internal combustion engines are creating a global warming which is devastating many parts of our planet. Unless you cut off their source of income and force them to change, they won't stop brain washing you! They and their tax collecting partners in government are making too much money to voluntarily stop the process. Thanks for reading!

s.o.s! ... s.os.!...s.o.s.!

Along with the areas mentioned on Canadian Television, the following places in Quebec are also devastated by flood damage!
1.Point-Des-Englais in St. Placid.
2. The Oka shore line facing the Lake of Two Mountains river and near the Oka Ferry Boat crossing.
3. Further down from Oka the small town of Point Calumet is under water!
4. St. Joseph Du Lac along the river's edge is suffering flood damage!
4. The town of Lake-of-Two Mountains along the river's  edge.
5. The town of St. Eustache near 25th., Avenue.
5. The town of Laval West on the opposite shore.

Hundreds of homes are flooded out and all desperately need help! Fill  up a sand bag and drop it off near a police road block. You will find many  police road blocks along the Oka road heading towards Oka.

Many people were caught off guard! Many Canadians who continue to be indoctrinated by commercial Television announcements selling gas burning automobiles, do not understand the effects of global warming or how Co2 is altering the Earth's weather patterns. Many thought they had decades to stop the pollution and they were and continue to be dead wrong!

Hi Joseph,
I’m Marit Stiles, President of Canada’s New Democrats. It’s great to e-meet you.
We’re a team that believes we can build a better Canada – one that is prosperous, sustainable, and where no one is left behind. We share your vision of a fairer, more equal country and believe that it’s within reach.
To get there, we all need to work together in communities across the country — and that's where you come in.
1. Accept this invitation.
2. Invite your friends.
From our earliest days, we’ve built this movement from the ground up, one conversation at a time. Every new person strengthens our team – so, recruit three friends to join you today.
3. Take the “Big Issue” poll.
Our movement is fueled by grassroots supporters like you. Tell us what’s important to your community — and find out who else is fighting for that issue with you.
Thanks for standing with us – more to come.

Dear Marit Stiles:

I am sad to read you spent countless hours of grassroots organizing.
Does your lawn look any better?

Years ago I worked for the NDP in Laval West and helped our local NDP
candidate win his election. He ran under the umbrella of
"environmental protection" and not once did he ask me for my advice on
protecting the environment. I was and still am deeply involved with
environment protection. In fact the only person to communicate with me
on a regular basis was Barack Obama and surprisingly, he did use many
of my ideas. I asked the new president to meet with Jack Layton and
learn from Jack the NDP system to implement medicare within the United
States.

My days as an unpaid "volunteer" are over. You can buy my ideas and
concepts and reports for a reasonable fee. My friends include the head
of Greenpeace in the United States and if I sound angry it is because
the advice and words of science and scientists have been drowned out
by the sounds of commercial advertising on the media. Money dominates
and until that changes and you live next to a river I suggest you buy
a small boat.

From healthy lifestyle arena:

Sleep problems common with age:

May 01
11:402017

Image result for sleep and age

Nothing’s as good as it used to be, right?
The coffee’s too bitter, the music’s too noisy, and don’t even get me started on the garbage that passes for TV these days.
And those aren’t the only things that have changed over the years.
Even SLEEP isn’t what is used to be!
As you get older, it’s harder to get the sleep you need. Even when you THINK you’ve gotten all 40 winks, you can wake up feeling not quite as rested as you used to.
Now, the latest research shows why — and it’s a problem deep inside your brain.
UC Berkeley researchers wrote in the journal Neuron that the parts of the brain that start to slow with age are the same areas needed to produce what’s known as “slow wave” sleep, or the deep sleep that’s so essential to rest and rejuvenation.
The brain also struggles to generate essential neurochemicals such as galanin and orexin, which help to control the sleep cycles.
That poor rest, in turn, can lead to even more problems in the brain that can set the stage for memory loss, cognitive decline, and dementia.
Sleep drugs can’t help here — even when they make you sleep LONGER, they don’t lead to the same natural sleep cycles and won’t necessarily increase your slow wave sleep.
But that doesn’t mean you have to suffer from the sleep-robbing effects of age. You can take action today so you can rest better tonight and get more of that essential slow-wave sleep, and I’ve got some quick tips that’ll help you do just that.
First, try some valerian.
This natural sleep-friendly herbal remedy is not only proven to help folks sleep longer and better, but it’s especially effective at increasing your slow-wave sleep.
Second, eat more fiber.
A study last year found boosting fiber intake helps you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and get more of that all-important slow-wave “deep” sleep that’s so hard to come by as you get older.
Third, turn off the devices.
The blue light wavelengths emitted from electronics such as iPads can alter your brain and change your sleep patterns. As a result, researchers found that just 30 minutes on an iPad before bed can delay slow-wave sleep.
Read a book instead.
Finally, limit your booze — and definitely don’t drink right before bed, as alcohol can alter your sleep mix, changing how and when you get your slow-wave sleep in ways that can leave you feeling crummy in the morning.
If you have to drink before turning in, try herbal tea instead. Some of them even have that valerian I just mentioned.
