Its Hockey Fight in North America!

  Hello Gentle People:

Like millions of Hockey fans in North America I watched the Stanley Cup play-off game held in Nashville Tennessee. I was hoping it would be a fair fight between the Nashville Predators and  the reigning Stanley Cup champions: Pitsburg Penguins. It wasn't!

Referee 'Quick Whistle' blew his whistle a half second before a still moving puck went into the Pitsburg net.
The referee, who shall remain nameless in this article, claimed to have lost sight of the Puck and except for the Goalie who did lose sight of the Puck, Millions of people in North America and around the world kept track of the puck while it moved. The Three other referees on the ice,  who were bewildered by the Quick Whistle, also kept track of the moving puck! Everybody in the crowd saw how the Puck was still in play and how it laid directly in front of the open net a half-second before it was gently tapped in. It was a half-second after Mr.Quick Whistle blew his whistle. The goal was discounted and that discounted the game for me and it discouraged the Predators.

The game ended One to Zero for Pitsburg and who is to say how the game might of concluded if Mr.Quick Whistle had by accident eaten his Whistle, or better yet taken an extra second to verify if the puck was both in deed and in fact out of play! It wasn't! The fact is, the Nashville players who were fighting like Tigers to remain in the Stanley-Cup play-off game might have pulled off an  upset victory if treated fairly. Without a doubt they were in fact cheated out of their last chance by Mr.Quick Whistle in what will now be forever known as the 'Quick Whistle' play-off game.
