How we live in Quebec, Canada.

Dear Brittany Andrew-Amofah:

Not only Muslim icons but all religious icons in Quebec are banned within our provincial and municipal governments. This assures that all groups are treated fairly and equally by government employees. What creates racism and mistrust is personal fear generated by cultural isolation and unusually large culture gaps which unfortunatelly are often created by religious beliefs and religious icons. Tolerance and understanding is what we strive for in Quebec. That is not easy when you have so many different religions and nationalities and languages competing for money and power all in one province.
