An open letter to the Prime Minister of Canada.

Poverty sucks! It often drains away your pride and dignity until you have nothing left but humiliation and death. What is worse than poverty is being old and suffering in Quebec, Canada, without a family doctor. Combined with poverty this feeling of abandonment is hell on Earth! Your body is filled with aches and pains and you can't find a doctor! All you can do is sit and wonder what happened to our wonderful Federal social Medicare system that was supposed to protect us in our old age and continues to drain Tax dollars from our pockets!

At that point a friend explains how in the province of Ontario, hospitals are looking for patients?

In Canada, we are supposed to have a social Medicare system similar to that in England and France. We pay federal and provincial taxes for that particular social service protection and personally, in the province of Quebec, I pay thousands of dollars in property taxes every year to my city for garbage removal and street repair and I do not have a car! Why is Quebec different from Ontario?

One reason may be greed and avarice. For examples: a year ago our long time Laval mayor was caught stashing boxes of money under his bed. He was taking kick-backs from companies looking for juicy city contracts and in the news recently, billionaires around the world were exposed stashing money in the small country of Panama rather than pay taxes in their home countries! The selfish and greedy are running the world and the poor are dying in misery and poverty. That has to change!

Apparently our Quebec Medicare system has and continues to be eroded to the point that calling for medical help is akin to gambling on a lottery machine. You are instructed to use the telephone to make an appointment at your nearest medical clinic. On the phone a computer asks you if you have a family doctor and if you say no because your doctor is dead of old age, it then asks you if you are in immediate danger of dying! If you say no because you still have breath in your body, it informs you that the clinic you have called is full and do you mind going to another clinic. If you say no you don't mind it politely hangs up on you! This makes an old man angry and he sits on his computer pumping out an angry letter to his Federal government. This is the angry letter. Please Justin Trudeau, repair the damage our last right-wing Conservative government did to our Medical system. We pay Taxes so that we have a national medical social protection insurance when we get older. Don't allow a few selfish human beings to undermine our Canadian social policies! 1. Restore or rebuild and restaff our local medical clinic system. 2. Give hospital Nurses the option to pass monthly exams leading to BA and PHD doctoral certificates while they are working as Nurses. 3. Allow Doctors from other countries to work as assistants within local clinics and Hospitals until they have reached or surpassed Canadian medical qualification levels. Do not allow privatization and greed to over-whelm our Canadian social Medicare system.

Attention people of the United States! Fracking for gas is one of the most destructive mining systems yet discovered by the fossil fuel industry! Fracking rhymes with cracking and that is what they are doing...cracking the shale rock under your feet and this creates tremors above ground as well as pollutes the veins of pure drinking water flowing under ground. The only political person standing up against Fracking at the moment is social Democrat Bernie Sanders. He is a good man and he should be your president but if you decide to elect Hillary Clinton I hope she backs away from the Fracking and cracking industry. If you are a Republican and you decide to elect Donald Trump, you might be surprised...very surprised!
