Gentle readers of this newsletter:

Here are solutions to our social problems.
As many as I could remember.
1. Plant Trees and Gardens everywhere, even on
 roof-tops and within tall buildings.
2. Build water desalination plants and pump the
water to our farmers and to our cities.
3. Protect Bio-diversity everywhere on the planet.
4. Buy an all electric vehicle and use it as a Taxi.
You will become rich within ten years.
5.  Put Solar panels on your roof.
6. Double insulate your home. Never destroy a
forest to build a house. Recycle paper.
7. Put electricity producing Wind and Water
generators on and in the Ocean and allow the
wind and the ocean currents to produce
 electricity.
8. Allow Medicare to exist because sooner
or later, rich or poor, you will need a doctor.
9. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Grow your
own vegies as they taste better.
10. Make love, not war!
11. Give the United Nations a powerful army
of Ethical peace keepers and send them into
conflict zones specifically to arrest the leaders
of the conflicts. Do not exclude European and
Western leaders who commit war crimes.
12. Arrest polluters, no matter how rich and
powerful they are and stop utilizing fossil fuels.
13. Protect the planet and have a  happy life!
You will face death with courage.

ICYMI: They're actually suing the President!‏

 Newsletters
To: Joseph Raglione
Yesterday, Speaker Boehner and House leadership did something that's
never been done in American history: They voted to sue the President.
What's certain is that this is an utter waste
of time and millions of taxpayer dollars.

But it gets crazier -- this opens the door
for extreme voices in Congress to call
 for impeachment.

I wish that was as unbelievable as it sounds.
But look at John Boehner's track record:
He let an extreme minority shut down the
government, gave them more than 50
votes trying to derail Obamacare, and now
he's letting them call the shots over a
wasteful lawsuit.

This isn't going to stop unless the American
 people demand it --
right now, add your name to tell John Boehner
you're fed up with this nonsense.

As grassroots organizers who are working for real
change that actually helps people, what's most
frustrating is that political stunts like this lawsuit
only make it more unlikely that they'll get
something meaningful done.

John Boehner is the Speaker of the House.
That's a job that should mean something --
the chance to fix problems and tackle the
issues that the American people sent you
there to do.

Instead, he's one of the biggest reasons
this is the least productive Congress
in modern history.

That's pretty shameful, and what just
happened yesterday on Capitol Hill is
making matters worse.

Add your name to tell John Boehner to
knock off the political games and get
something done:

Gentle Readers of this newsletter.
If you like Coffee you understand that the
richest Coffee retailer on Earth is the Nestlé company.
So rich in fact they now want to buy our water sources
and sell the water back to us in their small plastic bottles.
I suggest we stop buying their
Coffee until they stop trying to dominate our natural clean water
sources. I also suggest that world government politicians
wake up from deep slumber and create millions of
Salt water desalination plants before the land based
clean water supplies dry up. They can use the
proposed Oil pipelines for water distribution networks.
I have yet to see anybody enjoy a nice cold glass of Oil! ->
 Dear JOSEPH Raglione,
Nestlé subsidiary Poland Spring set its sights on the tiny town                                                     of Fryeburg, Maine, USA nearly a decade ago,                                                                         pushing to build a huge bottling plant and take                                                                             long-term control over the town's spring water.                                                                           Nestlé has sued the small town multiple times,                                                                   arguing that its right to grow market share is more                                                         important than the town's right to self-determination.
Nestlé wants to lock up its control over                                                                           Fryeburg’s water with a contract that --                                                                                   including extensions -- lasts until 2057.

This lifetime contract would be
unprecedented in North America
and would be a major victory for
water privatization companies."

->This is a story that has to be told because water                                                                       is a human necessity for basic survival.
It is also a human right and I honestly believe                                                                               privatizing and selling water is basically a criminal action!                                                         Today, the plastic litre water bottle is in almost every store and restaurant and I
wonder what will happen when the price of bottled water slowly begins to climb?                            Exactly how much economic and political power do you want to give private water bottling companies?

Tell Nestlé and Poland Spring to stop bullying the people of Fryeburg.

Nestlé has tried every trick of the trade in fighting Fryeburg, relentlessly working to grind down and bankrupt opposition in the town with a wave of lawsuits. The corporation has found itself shut out of fifty-year contracts, so it is pushing a 25 year contract -- with four five-year extensions -- to test the limits of how long it can lock up water before people fight back.
Nestlé has also sunk deep into Maine politics, but local activists have been fighting back and are winning victories. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the deciding members of the Maine Public Utilities Commission -- the body that would rule on Nestlé's Fryeburg fight -- had connections to the corporation, forcing the Commission to recluse itself from the case. This month, the entire membership of the Fryeburg Water District resigned under threat of recall. This relentless pressure is having an effect, and we need to keep it up.
If Nestlé sees that its bullying is hurting its global brand, the company will rethink its strategy of taking Fryeburg's water. Nestlé is trying to retell the Story of water, saying it's a good up for sale to the highest bidder. This way, Nestlé gets it for a steal, pumps aquifers dry, and then moves on to the next town. In places like Fryeburg, people are taking a stand and saying "Not here. Not anywhere." Please join them today.

Tell Nestlé and Poland Spring to stop the attempt to lock up Fryeburg's water until 2057.

Thanks for all you do!

Nestlé has sued this small town five times, arguing its right to grow market share is more important than the peoples' wishes.
Tell Nestlé and Poland Spring bottled water to stop bullying Fryeburg, Maine.

Gentle readers, memory lane is a fun place...especially in space and on the Moon!
"One small step for man, one giant step for mankind"
Forty-five years ago this week, two humans walked on the Moon for the first time. It was the achievement of their lives, and of so many of our lives on Earth. But amidst the excitement and hard work of landing so far from home, the Apollo 11 astronauts had many chances to look back at where they had come from. The famedHasselblad camera captured some of those moments.
These two photographs were taken by the crew on their outbound journey from Earth to the Moon. Apollo 11 launched from Cape Canaveral at 9:32 a.m. on July 16, 1969, and these photos were captured that day. The top view shows the full disk of Earth, with bits of California, the Pacific Northwest coast, and Alaska peeking through the cloud cover in a scene otherwise dominated by the Pacific Ocean. The second, closer view shows more of the western United States and Canada, with the Rocky Mountains filling much of the center of the scene and the Arctic ice cap at the top.
Unless you spend a lot of time looking at images from space—a pasttime that was in its infancy in the late 1960s—the view can be mysterious and disorienting sometimes. Reading through the transcripts of Apollo 11 communications, we can get some sense of the wonder, disorientation, and awe that Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, and Neil Armstrong must have felt while looking for navigation points or for simple beauty shots of their planet. About 51 minutes after launch, the conversation centered around lights in Earth’s atmosphere:
Collins: Look at those bright ones down here.
Aldrin: Lightning! Is that lightning out your window?
Armstrong: No, I haven't seen any lightning.
Aldrin: Hell, that must be lightning. Either that or it's the atmosphere.
Armstrong: I just saw something. Maybe it is the atmosphere. They said that Borman's [crew] could see it. They couldn't hear it, but they could see it alright.
About 30 minutes later, Collins looked down on a different, unfamiliar scene and noted: “It looks like trees and a forest or something. Looks like snow and trees. Fantastic. I have no conception of where we're pointed or which way we are, but it's a beautiful low-pressure cell out here.”
Ten hours into the flight, Aldrin and astronaut Charlie Duke (working communications from Mission Control in Houston, Texas), had a conversation that sounds like a description of the images above.
Aldrin: Hey, Charlie, I can see the snow on the mountains out in California, and it looks like LA doesn’t have much of a smog problem today.
Duke: Roger, Buzz. Copy. Looks like there’s a good view out there then.
Aldrin: Charlie, with the monocular, I can discern a definite green cast to the San Fernando Valley.
Duke: How’s Baja California look, Buzz?
Aldrin: Well, it’s got some clouds up and down it, and there’s a pretty good circulation system a couple of hundred miles off the west coast of California....Okay, Houston. You suppose you could turn the Earth a little bit so we could get a little bit more than just water?
Duke: Roger, 11. I don't think we got much control over that. Looks like you'll have to settle for the water.

Gentle readers:

If I was a religious American citizen, I would be constantly trying to convince Federal government Republicans that money and power are leading us all down a road to hell and that they should be thinking of helping people survive on a daily basis. It is lucky for me that I am not a religious American citizen and that I am a world political activist for human rights and the environment. As such I am including the following article in my blog...for all good people who deserve better.

Joseph --

No, you didn't just wake up from a bad dream.

John Boehner and House leaders are actually moving forward with their plan to sue the President.

Of course, it's an unbelievable waste of time and taxpayer dollars -- and when you think about what Speaker Boehner hasn't gotten done for the American people, it's even more outrageous. Name any issue you've wanted to see progress on, and you can be pretty damn sure the House hasn't done anything meaningful to move it forward.

That isn't working for the vast majority of Americans, and it's up to us to let him know it.

So I'm asking you, Joseph -- what's the one thing you would say to John Boehner, if you could? Because OFA volunteers are going to hand-deliver all of your messages straight to his office.

It's not really the political stunt of suing the President that makes me mad.

What really ticks me off is that John Boehner and House leaders are spending time (and our money) on a wasteful lawsuit instead of doing anything good for the American people.

Right now, John Boehner is personally standing in the way of progress.

A lot of it.

He and House leaders are blocking comprehensive immigration reform. They're refusing to make long-term investments in our transportation infrastructure, and aren't even considering a bill to raise the minimum wage for hard-working families. They're preventing action from being taken on climate change. They won't lift a finger to help relieve the burden of student loan debt, or reduce discrimination against LGBT Americans.

And it's not the first time we have seen this from John Boehner and his friends in the House -- remember when they shut down the government and wasted hundreds of hours trying to repeal Obamacare and take away affordable health care from Americans?

It seems like John Boehner goes through a lot of trouble to keep real work from getting done. That's something that frustrates a whole lot of people across the country who work hard every day.

It's time he heard from us. Let Speaker Boehner know what's on your mind and tell him to stop wasting our time:

DARING TO WEAR TIGHT TIGHT SHORTS OPENLY
WITH THE COURAGE AND THE FREEDOM NOT TO CARE....

AND WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE VILLAGE
THE VERY GAY VILLAGE!
I PRETENDED NOT TO SEE THE MEN KISSING MEN
OPENLY THERE...

AND CONCENTRATED ON MY MATE PUSHING ME
DOWN THE FESTIVAL STREET TOWARDS THE FREE FIREWORKS...
FROM LA RONDE...

WHERE THOUSANDS WERE WAITING NEAR THE OLD BRIDGE
FOR THE BOMBS TO EXPLODE IN THE AIR!

This message was a reply sent ten minutes ago to the following Liberal minister...I suggest you use it before the Liberal's do...and yes, I am manipulating both your parties as much as is humanly possible at this time...because I am certain you will return to ignoring my suggestions and ideas once you regain power...if you regain power.

Dear John McCallum:

Your use of the words "sustainable development" creates an impression in my mind that the Liberals intend to sustain Canada's industrial development. Industrial development world wide is creating global warming. I suggest the following new catch phrase would be more apppropriate. ( Let us economically protect and enhance and sustain the natural environment, in essence placing economic value on nature, not as a commodity or as a natural resource, but as a life sustaining and life protecting shield against human species extinction.) Industrial development can also be maintained if, like a Doctor's oath, first and foremost it does no harm. That phrase might be palatable to scientists and hard working practical people across Canada. Do not harm life sustaining Mother Nature and we will reap a great abundance...otherwise, we will reap Human extinction!

Gentle People:
Death does not scare me but watching a documentary featuring the atrocity we have labelled the Alberta Tar Sands project certainly shames and humiliates me!. I am ashamed that my Canadian government is allowing the perpetuation of the greatest polluting disaster on Earth! I am ashamed that they are covering up this mess with lies to the general public. Lies claiming we cannot have an economy without the Tar Sands or without Oil and Coal. These are absolute in your face dangerous lies! These liars are people who care only for money and power and do not care if you live or die with a climate that is becoming dangerous! These people believe that millions upon millions of internal combustion engines are necessary for perpetuating a world economy controlled by approximately 51 giant companies. They completely ignore the fact that global warming is dangerously heating up this planet and it is created by their Oil based industries. It is a slow and sneaky war against the people of this Earth. An undeclared war using psychological techniques. They use powerful sales advertising and mass Media control as human motivators. In my opinion these are subconscious weapons against the people. The author George Orwell wrote a book about thought police dominating our every move and he was correct! Today's thought police are subtle. They use Television and the print media and today mini telephones and cameras to keep millions of people occupied with buying their things created from Oil.
Giant box stores are doing booming business selling millions upon millions of  'things' and they have replaced religion as human motivators. Things do not have moral codes. Things are inanimate and do not replace the affection and love we all need from each other. Things will not hold your hand when you are old and say "I love you and I will care for you!"

Today things such as cars are created by robot controlled assembly lines in order to save the cost of human labour. Are these robots programmed to love and care for humans? The writer Isaac Asimov tried to introduce robots that cared but I can only wonder what we humans are going to do as more and more computerized machines take over our human labour. Creating "consumer needs" is a fundamental principal for industrial companies who want to sell their "things." However, in order for people to buy "things" they need money. To obtain money people need work.  Money is the thing that today represents basic food and shelter and security for our human survival and it is, unfortunately, controlled and distributed by many top industrial and political leaders who simply don't care if we live or die as they introduce labour saving and profit making devices into the not-so-free-market!

In other words the giant soulless companies who create things also pay for political protection and when they get rich enough, own Banks. Banks distribute money and power coupons and ask us to spend the small amounts of money we average "consumers" accumulate in order to perpetuate the "economy."
Top of the ladder Industrial business people control our world economies and also our basic food and shelter systems. It is a scary thought! There are millions of people who do not have the capacity or the methods to accumulate money and such people have become desperate and dispensable. We can see millions of them begging for money and slowly dying on the streets within many large cities around the world!

Gentle readers, before we become too depressed, let me write how there are non violent solutions for the above problems. It begins with shopping in garden centres and planting vegetables and flowers and trees. It continues by creating Bicycle paths and shutting off your hot water tanks three times a week. It gains speed with all Electric cars and roof-top Solar Panels and continues from there. I will report back to you on where you can find many solutions to pollution. One of those places is "The Story of Stuff".com"

Hello Gentle Readers:

I went to a magnificent 'Pink Martini' concert tonight at Place Des Arts in Montreal, with their on stage invited guests, the young Von Trapp family singers. If you have seen the movie the Sound of Music with Julie Andrews, you may remember how one of the Von Trapp children declared he was incorrigible. That child grew up to train his grandchildren into one of the best singing groups of our time. I could not believe my ears. These kids are excellent and they are going straight up the charts with their first de-but performance in Montreal. The Von Trapp great grandchildren are on their way to becoming international super stars and if they remain with Pink Martini, the mix will meld into one of the best shows in the world! It will also finally give Pink Martini the kind of international publicity they deserve because these musicians and singers are the very best and they are well worth both the price of admission and the standing ovation they received from tonight's adoring audience.

Hello Gentle People:

It is hell week in Quebec, Canada. The week leading up to the first of July when thousands of basically poor people shift out of shoddy rental apartments and into even worse apartments. If you are trying to find an apartment for rent at a reasonable rate, forget it. Landlords have stopped renting and Condominiums are for sale everywhere. Condos today are basically apartments guarded by private real estate Brokers who filter people with the ability to pay higher monthly rates from those who can barely scratch a living on welfare or who exist on small old age pensions. Brokers do this class discrimination in exchange for a finders fee from the Condo owner and Brokers are the reason rental rates have jumped out of reach for thousands of people.

Almost directly because of brokers there is a quiet revolution going on where a certain group of renters, with help from the police, are becoming hostile towards small scale landlords.
These renters sign a lease for a year and then, for one reason or another, refuse to pay two or three months rent. They know for certain that the police will not remove them from the apartment they are occupying and they also know that the police will send the unsuspecting landlord to an arbitration court. It is in the court house the landlord discovers he or she is responsible for opening a file and finding a lawyer to either help remove the tenant from the property or force the tenant to pay money owed; but only after both tenant and landlord face a judge. The landlord may, if the judge rules in his favour, be able to collect past due rent from a tenant who left without paying but only if that person can be found! To find lost tenants a landlord has to hire a detective specializing in finding lost tenants. Meanwhile, the lost tenant may suddenly reappear and claim the few days remaining on his lease. Even though said tenant cancelled his Hydro Electric contract in the middle of the final month and has not paid rent for two months, he now wants to re-enter the apartment to collect a few of his things. Things such as door knobs, light bulbs, plastic electric plug shields and basically anything that is not nailed down. He or she may even do a little damage and claim the damage was not their fault and it is the reason they refused to pay rent. If the landlord complains, the tenant quickly phones the police and claims the landlord is a threat to his or her person. They explain to the police officer entering the scene that all they were trying to do is move out of the apartment and the landlord intimidated them. Of course the officer will create a police report and now the landlord has a police file and begins to seriously consider converting his property to Condos and hiring a Broker to sell his renovated Condominium; thus leaving the poorest of the poor out on the street. Satan must love hell week?!

It is far past the time the U.S. government helped to mass market pure Electric vehicles. I suggest they retool General Motors and drop their gas burning engines once and for all. Remember what president Bush did to the  EV1. He totally destroyed that great little Electric car and then forgot they ever existed. I suggest president Obama return the favour with the same result to polluting gas burning vehicles. Convert G.M. assembly lines to all Electrics and do it fast. Why? Because the Japanese have already started the process. Why let them have all the fun in 2015. Do this before the Democrats lose and are removed from political office. It takes courage but it is not like starting a war! Bush did that also.
Contact NASA for ideas on making viable Electric Cars and then sell all Electrics at prices average people can afford. Twenty thousand Dollars or less is a reasonable sticker price for a new  Electric car. Finally, create an electric charging station grid for long distance travel. Today, we are being barraged by gas burning cars on Television and on the WWW. Polluters know how to market cars and there is not a decent pure Electric car in sight. Elon Musk, the maker of the superb Tesla Electric car is currently concentrating on creating a rocket to Mars. I salute his courage and creative intelligence but I and millions of people around the world are riding Bicycles while waiting for affordable Electric cars to hit the market and meanwhile, CO2 continues to build up in the atmosphere. Soon, the proverbial merde is going to hit the fan.

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

Gentle People:
It is a shame but General Motors continues to sell anything but pure Electric Cars on Television and in the print media hoping against hope that average people are stupid and have short attention spans and they will forget about Electric vehicles. It has been proven that pure Electrics are faster than gas burning cars, create zero pollution and have the capacity to travel up to six hundred Killometers without a charge. Electric vehicles are on the market but the Oil cartels with their political allies in Washington and Ottawa along with their advertising friends on Madison Avenue, continue to block their progress. The good news is however that average people everywhere now have the communication ability to spread the truth and the CAA has a web site that provides somewhat slanted information about Electric vehicles. Slanted towards gas burning vehicles which proves my point but hey anything is better than nothing!. http://electricvehicles.caa.ca/types-of-electric-vehicles/   Until Tesla produces more cars and reduces their cost, Nissan will continue to be a front runner for Electrics. http://www.nissan.ca/en/electric-cars/leaf/charging-range/

Companies like G.M. who refuse to change and are willing to gamble with the future of their children and grandchildren, have the selfish and ignorant hope that global warming is not dangerous! They now also have the ability to quickly place their advertisements everywhere on the world wide web and feature smaller Hybrid cars that continue to burn gas. Look below this article for proof. With new electronic components copied from the magnificent Tesla Electric car company, many auto makers pretend to have modernized but nothing is further from the truth! Smaller cars do burn less gas but not when twice as many jam the highways! That equals the same amount of pollution.

For True Believers
Copyright: Joseph Raglione

They could not explain Eternity
Though they certainly tried.
But could not explain Eternity
And so they lied!

They lied about Eternity
And were so very good,
They created fraternities of True Believers
Who would follow them as only True Believers would.

And pods of imaginary Gods to terrify those who should,
According to them, be True Believers...
And believe in Them or face the wrath of their
Omnipotent Gods!

With strife and damnation and pain for none believers,
A Supreme Being will never deign to explain creation
To foolish sinners here on Earth...
But if YOU obey without question,
Follow orders without disruption...
The Gods will heap rewards upon YOU in the
Afterlife!

Obey the Gods and they will gladly explain creation to you
After your dead...
But will only give mercy and love to you
While you live...
If you are a True Believer.

Gentle readers, if honesty is the best policy, why am I not rich?

Friend --

Some of the reaction to the President's climate plan from the other side this week has seemed straight-up bonkers.

One group likened it to a terrorist act, the Senate minority leader called it a "dagger in the heart of [...] representative democracy"...

This would all be kind of funny, too, if the opposition wasn't backed with a whole boatload of cash.

The polluters and special interests are prepared to fight this with everything they've got -- right now, we want to know who's willing to fight back.

So, how about you? Stand with President Obama, and support aggressive action to combat climate change.

The nonsense on the other side is no accident. This is their strategy.

Last week, House Speaker John Boehner told a reporter, "I'm not qualified to debate the science over climate change."

But this week, he was one of the first out of the gate to throw a punch at the President's plan, saying that this proposal will cost our country billions of dollars and thousands of jobs. The fact checkers don't agree -- Politifact rated his claims "false."

Here's what it boils down to:

The other side is prepared to spread myths and worse to get their way. We just need people to understand the facts.

If you're proud of the President's aggressive plan to fight climate change, you should help fight for it.

Add your name today to support common-sense EPA standards on carbon pollution:

A message from Joseph Raglione.
If choking to death in smog filled cities is your idea of the good life, you have been brain washed by too many TV car commercials created by people who do not care if you choke to death in smog laden cities.
The rich have alternatives to Oil and Coal. They can place their Billions of Dollars on: electric vehicles, green-house gardens, city gardens, buildings that can be heated and cooled with the sun and the wind, solar panels, water mills that generate electricity utilizing ocean currents everywhere on Earth. Tree planting projects help to save the environment and they create jobs everywhere on Earth.  On the cultural side jazz and dance festivals generate employment for thousands of people around the world. Almost anything we can imagine is possible and the rich will not lose a single dime. In fact they will make more money doing life sustaining projects than it will cost them struggling against the rising wave of change now moving towards those same life sustaining projects.
The idea of losing thousands of jobs in the Coal mining industry is bogus. Mountain top blasting and the use of Bulldozers and giant shovels have created unemployment for hundreds if not thousands of below ground miners. Why dig holes in the ground when you can simply blow away mountains to expose the Coal veins? Now that the mountains are half flattened, why not place dozens of Wind powered electric generators on those same mountains and give work to local people maintaining the generators?

Gentle readers:

Honest political activists and journalists tend to become hard nosed and cynical the more they struggle against injustice and tyranny and pollution. Every once in a while I look in the mirror to update my consciousness. Today, I did not like the old tough guy who looked back at me and because of him I am going to write a  love poem to my one and only lady.
----------------------------
My sweet love.
Though we are apart my love
Imagine a gentle kiss as soft as a Butterfly's wing
Sent to you on the wind with my full promise of future bliss...
Close your eyes and allow my love to surpass your imagination,
To gently surprise your heart and
To kiss and to kiss and to kiss again
Your soft satin lips...
My sweet love

Hello gentle readers!
For many years now I have been arguing that Electric vehicles are here to stay and that they are both faster and cleaner than gas burning vehicles. For just as many years my beloved family and friends have told me to shut up and not to make political and economic waves. They argued passionately how Electric Cars do not have the capacity to travel long distances and are not economically viable. Tesla became an example of a car only the rich could afford and the excuses hit me from all directions. Here are a few examples:
1. Electric vehicles are too expensive and I can't afford an Electric Car.
2. Electric Cars are only small glorified Golf Carts and they don't move fast enough.
3. The Oil companies will never allow Electric cars on the open market. Look what they did to the EV1!
4. They don't have charging stations everywhere.
-------------------------------------------------
Well the Bullshit stops here! Read what the Japanese have done and continue to do while North American car manufacturing companies are sleeping with the Oil and Gas cartels.

An electric car in Japan has set a new world record by running for more than 27 hours and covering over 1,000km (621 miles) without being recharged.

The customised Mira EV travelled at speeds of around 40kph as it drove non-stop around a car racing course in Shimotsuma in Ibaraki Prefecture.
The red and white vehicle, fitted with a special lithium ion battery created by the Japanese company Sanyo, ran for 27.5 hours covering a distance of 1,003km without being recharged.
A total of 17 different people took turns at the wheel of the electric car as it circled repeatedly around the racecourse during the experiment.
The test run was organised by the Japan Electric Vehicle Club, which plans to request that the Guinness World Records officially recognise it as the world's longest electric car journey, according to media reports.
The achievement is timely: Japan and other nations are bracing themselves for an electric car boom as car manufacturers race to produce competitive versions of the environmentally-friendly vehicles.
However, the biggest inconveniences for many potential e-car owners relate to charging – from finding a nearby charger to making sure that the car does not run out of power during the school run.
The latest epic electric vehicle drive of over 1,000 km effortlessly beat the previous world record of uncharged driving 555.6km, which was achieved last November by the same Japanese organisation.
