Pay me enough not to work but make it explicit!

 Pay me enough not to work and make it explicit so I do not work and I will not work but here is the catch 22...nobody, not even the super rich believe they are ever paid enough money! The reason for that is simple. Money or Dollars are government power coupons and almost everybody wants the power to dominate and be envied by those with less money.

  Therefore, the more money a person has, the more power he or she assumes within the social and economic hierarchy of State.

  Paid work is a privilege granted by those with money to those without money and people with limited incomes and desperate homeless people without work often feel abandoned by society. Many desperate poor lose hope and self respect as poverty forces them into an emotional and physical downward spiral. Unless those feeling unwanted are given an economic safety net along with the feeling they are contributing to society, death is their sad option!

 Most middle class people find something to do with money! They garden and renovate their homes and plant trees and often volunteer to help others in Hospitals and old age homes. Many pensioners attempt to increase their income by marketing their skills and sometimes, their hobbies.  Old age pensioners and welfare recipients often create work for themselves in order not to feel deserted by society and specifically, by those with economic and political power. Many poor, however, do feel they are no longer wanted on the ship of state and they feel set adrift on very small economic life-rafts. If the state provided a basic income for everybody along with opportunities to increase their income doing work aimed at their capabilities, whatever their capabilities might be, the ship of state can float through many a dangerous social storm without much harm.  Thanks for reading!
