I take this opportunity to thank the secret society of computer users who continue to support my old XP computer a full Two years after Microsoft pulled the plug. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Google Chrome for providing me with a substitute browser...unfortunately, I continue to have update problems because extreme poverty forces me to utilize an old computer.

According to a person or persons unknown, my computer software and my computer are out-dated and will not, at some future unknown time in space, be supported by updates. They, whoever they are, have been telling me this for years and during the first few years and especially nearing the Christmas season, they managed to scare me into destroying half my soft-ware programs attempting to adjust and fix the problems they were actually creating! Surprisingly, my old XP computer kept on working and continues to provide me with all the services of the Web. Even more surprising and like gifts from different Gods, I found good and absolutely free programs on the Web, then downloaded them into my computer without any problems what-so-ever. What I am trying to say is do not let computer sales people, like car sales people, scare or tempt you into buying new computers when you absolutely do not need a new computer. The Internet continues to be free for everybody and quality products bought years ago often out-last the cheaper not-so-great products now being sold everywhere. Support for your older computers can be found absolutely free on the WWW. You may have to learn how to use different programs but so what? Learning is good for you!
